The Company
Sama Demashiq is a limited liability company based in Baghdad with branch offices in Erbil in the North and Basrah in The South of Iraq. The Company was established in 1995 and for a number of years concentrated on general contracting and became a well known construction company delivering projects to public and private sector. It executed a number of high profile and sensitive projects mainly in Baghdad and neighboring cities.
Since 2004 and due to high demand for food products, the Company started its General Trading business and now it supplies over 350 outlets country wide.
With experienced professional structure in its various areas, Sama Demashiq is recognized in the market for its entrepreneurship in the conquest of new commercial borders, as well as for the acute ... sense of partnership and creativity in its operations.

Food Trading Division
Established in 2004, this division has achieved its partners respect for the consistency and efficiency of its services. Since its inception the Division has been involved in a number of activities, including purchasing, sales, storage, and agencies.
The Division has secured the agencies of two confectionery manufactures from Brazil and Spain in addition to a number of regional factories that specializes in sweets and other food stuff.
It is well equipped with total of 54 employees including experienced Sales Staff, outdoor sales / marketing staffs and fleet of 15 Vehicles to cater for the Customers' need in Iraq. It has ware housing facility comprising of approx 15,000 sq. ft. Their Imports are mainly from, Brazil, Spain, Turkey, Syria, and have been importing from these countries regularly in large volume
Our model is simple; we import from the manufactures and sell directly into outlets.
Sama Demashiq is the first company in Iraq to introduce vending machines. These machines are located in varying outlets across 10 main cities within Iraq. The machines mainly dispenses confectionery and been replenish by some of our designated sales representative on a daily basis
General Contracting Division
This Division started in 1995 and since has completed a number of public and private sector projects. It offered a range of consultancy and projects management services including architectural design, on-site construction, turnkey solution, management contracting and building maintenance.
In early 2006 it was decided to diversify into trading activities to compliment the overall operation of the Company. In July 2008 it became the sole representative of Future Pipe Industries, a German company, a global leader in manufacturing large diameter fibre glass pipes and supplying pipe systems to a broad range of markets around the world. In May 2009 it became the sole representative again of the Sonepar Ltd the Global Electrical Equipment Distributors based in France.
