Cogent limited was conceptualized by Mr.Ushir Chandaria. This individual came with the idea of starting a trading company which would concentrate on products which would primarily improve the life style and well being of individuals in the middle to lower income bracket.
Cogent limited saw a need in the society to provide products that were out of reach for the common citizen. With the combined effort of the two visionaries, Cogent limited has dedicated its operations to trading in products that will be highly beneficial to the citizens of the country while costing them less than the alternatives.
On the other hand, whatever needs or requirements our clientele may have, we will take it as our personal responsibility to cater to them and ensure complete satisfaction o ...f their requirements.
Cogent limited is a legally registered entity. Its head offices are situated in Parklands, Ojijo Close 10 minutes from the Central Business District in Nairobi Kenya.
With over 20 years of combined business experience of the management, Cogent limited is well equipped to handle any and all trading expectations.
Cogent limiteds niche will be that we are first and foremost concerned about the wellbeing of the citizens of the environment we are operating within.

Cogent Limiteds Managing Directors Background.
Mr. Ushir Chandaria Managing Director of Cogent Limited is a prominent entrepreneur of the country.
Mr.Chandarias business career began in 1990 where he was employed in a retail garment shop. It was here that Mr.Chandarias business abilities began to flourish. He rapidly gained a reputation as a one man business powerhouse and accelerated the expansion of the shop by popularizing it. At that time, there were very limited avenues to advertise and it was through his single handed effort and ability to recognize threats and opportunities that the retail shop reached its peak.
He then moved to Kenpoly Manufacturers in the year 1993, he began his career here in the sales and operations department. While in the department Mr.Chandaria introduced Information Technology into the company. Through this their transaction and order system was drastically changed to be more effective and efficient. Before its inception, the company was running manual systems which were time consuming and limiting. Mr.Chandaria then focused his efforts to the Public relation angle of the company and improved the supplier and customer relations by maintaining direct contact with them and as a result increasing their confidence in him and the company.
The management of Kenpoly then noticed the innovative nature of Mr.Chandaria and promoted him to Director of the company. As director, Mr.Chandaria contributed in the expansion of the products that
the company manufactured and also its client base, giving the company a more innovative target for the future.
In 2008, after 15 years at Kenpoly, Mr.Chandaria fulfilled a personal ambition of his to begin his own entity, he and a partner then began Cogent limited a trading company. Considering that his main expertise is in expansion of small to medium sized enterprises, he felt that this was the way for his career to go.
He has now created and is running his own trading company which if dictated by his past performance, will become a force to reckon with in the business world in the near future.
